A Neurological Physiotherapist is a therapist who specialises in treating patients who have suffered and injury or disease affecting their central nervous system (CNS). These can include; Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, head injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, spinal injuries and other less well known conditions such as: Peripheral Neuropathy and Cerebellar Degeneration.
At the Clinic we are all neurological specialists in physiotherapy, all of whom are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. All are Advanced Bobath trained, but also offer a wide range of skills in the areas of acupuncture, pilates, strength and condition training, gym ball, as well as orthotic knowledge.
